Double Back-up Technology
To provide secure data
storage, apart from RAID protection, we apply a
special backup technique. We make nightly backups of
customer data to the local backup HDD and weekly
backups of the entire server to the remote backup

What is cPanel/WHM?
cPanel® and WHM™(WebHost Manager) is the web
hosting control panel system for the next
generation. Both cPanel & WHM are extremely
feature-rich and include an easy to use
web-based GUI (Graphical User Interface).
To the client, cPanel provides front-ends for a
number of common operations, including the
management of PGP keys, crontab tasks, mail and
FTP accounts, and mailing lists. Several add-ons
exist, including Fantastico, a script which
allows the automated installation of open source
web applications.
Resellers gain access to an additional control
panel known as Web Host Manager, or WHM, which
allows them to create and manage sub-accounts.
The server administrator also has access to
additional features in WHM which allow him to
perform server maintenance tasks such as
rebooting the server and upgrading software.
Unlike some other web hosting control panels,
cPanel manages some software packages separately
from the underlying operating system, applying
upgrades to Apache, PHP, MySQL, and related
software packages automatically. This ensures
that these packages are kept up-to-date and
compatible with cPanel, but has become a cause
for consternation to some, as it becomes more
difficult to install newer versions of these
packages.

What is Ruby on Rails?
Ruby on Rails is a web framework that is
optimized for programmer happiness and
sustainable productivity. Rails is a
full-stack framework for developing
database-backed web applications
according to the Model-View-Control
pattern. Rails gives you a pure-Ruby
development environment. To go live, all
you need to add is a database and a web
server.
For development and testing, the
lightweight WEBrick web server included
with Ruby is often used as the
application server. For production use,
Apache or Lighttpd with FastCGI are
recommended, but any web server with CGI
or FastCGI support will work. On Apache,
mod_ruby can help to increase
performance considerably, although its
use is frequently discouraged because it
is unsafe to share multiple RoR
applications on Apache.
Since the Rails architecture strongly
favors database use, an RDBMS system is
recommended for data storage. Rails
supports the SQLite library if running
an RDBMS server is not possible. The
database access is entirely abstracted
from the programmer's point of view, and
Rails handles access to all databases
automatically, although, if needed,
using direct SQL queries is possible.
Rails attempts to maintain database
neutrality, application portability over
different database systems, and
usability of pre-existing databases for
Rails application development as much as
possible although, due to different
feature sets of the RDBMSes, it is not
completely guaranteed by the framework
alone. Several different RDBMS systems
are supported, including MySQL,
PostgreSQL, SQLite, IBM DB2, Oracle and
Microsoft SQL Server.
